Maestro and the CCTC
We have helped organize leading Chinese centers of cancer care into a coordinated network of clinical research excellence, the China Clinical Trials Consortium.
The Consortium is supported exclusively by Maestro, and is guided by a Steering Committee consisting both of leading Chinese PIs from the participating institutions as well as leaders from US and European cooperative cancer study groups.
Initial Focus
With an initial focus on Oncology, the clinical arena most hindered by an inadequate availability of enrollees in Western clinical studies, Maestro and the CCTC are dedicated to ensuring the most rigorous ICH-GCP compliant clinical development environment, while allowing an unprecedented collaboration between clinical thought leaders in China and innovators from the global pharmaceutical, biotechnology and device communities.

Through our unique model of integration of Western-trained and professionally managed expertise into the research operation at each participating CCTC institution, and the commitment to the leadership of these flagship Chinese institutions toward success of CCTC research projects, Maestro provides unprecedented, top-down levels of support to leading clinical institutions, and is helping to establish a new standard for clinical research and quality control/quality assurance in China that is equal to the most rigorous in the world.
